The medium of photography is rich with connections for learning about the visual arts, history, science, and much more. Now on view, the exhibition, Through the Lens: Modern Photography in the Delaware Valley, explores nearly 70 years of artistic experimentations with photographic processes and subject matter by artists in the Delaware Valley region. A special feature on view in the exhibition includes a series of labels for families to help children connect with art, learn new vocabulary, and be inspired to create art after their visit.
Below are a series of family activities to do during and after your see the exhibition and are also accessed via scanning QR codes in the exhibition. Activities are appropriate for elementary through high school students.
