Michener Kids: Five Apps for Your Museum Visit

1. JAMES A. MICHENER ART MUSEUM’S MOBILE APP

The Michener Art Museum’s Permanent Collection Mobile App will enhance your experience as you walk through the Museum providing you with information on the Museum’s permanent collection and its history as the former site of the Bucks County Prison. It explores individual works in the collection, the Museum’s architecture and history, the outdoor sculpture gardens, and much more. This app will help you navigate at your own pace and in your preferred sequence. It includes a map of the galleries along with geo-location based information. You will view exclusive audio, video and photos to illustrate the stops included on the app.

2. THE MICHENER ART MUSEUM YOUTH AUDIO TOUR

Listen to some stops on the Michener’s Permanent Collection Youth Audio Tour. Create your own informative audio stop for one of your favorite artworks using a podcast recording app using Anchor.

3. INSTAGRAM

Share your selfies with your favorite Michener artwork and tag the Museum @michenerart. Be creative with your captioning or interact with the art in interesting ways.
